Job SummaryJoin UT Southwestern as a HVAC Mechanic I. The HVAC Mechanic I monitors equipment daily to prevent HVAC outage throughout the Campus including in patient areas. The HVAC Mechanic repairs on mechanical equipment identified during preventive maintenance checks. They will also replace sheaves, belts, bearings, and other components of air handlers, pumps, fans, etc.
Required Experience and EducationGraduation from high school, vocational school, or GED and three (3) years experience in operation and maintenance of large (25,000 cfm) air handling equipment, steam pressure reducing stations, chill water systems and pumps.
Must be a self-starter and have good communication skills
