University Texas Southwestern Medical Center is Hiring a HR Program Coordinator, Institutional Advancement Near Dallas, TX

Job Summary

Join UT Southwestern as a Human Resources Program Coordinator in the Institutional Advancement department. The Human Resources Program Coordinator for Advancement Strategy and Operations collaborates closely with the department's HR Administrative Coordinator to help oversee all areas of human resources including strategic talent management in support of the goals and mission of Institutional Advancement (IA). Together, with the Associate Vice President of Advancement Strategy and Operations and HR Administrative Coordinator, the HR Program Coordinator will partner to devise strategic plans to recruit top talent, advance talent development, elevate employee engagement, and evaluate impact and progress across IA. Additionally, the incumbent will collaborate with key partners and university departments to manage recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and annual performance management processes, including goal setting.

Prior human resources and strategic planning experience is highly preferred. Experience with the Talent Acquisition Management System along with interview itinerary design and facilitation of interviews is preferred.

This position falls under a hybrid work schedule with 2 days/week remote.

Required Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field, and at least five (5) years experience in appropriate field required.

May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.

Job Duties
  • Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
  • Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
  • Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
  • Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
  • Plans and coordinates special events.
  • Participates in conferences.
  • Presents data and program information.
  • Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.
  • May provide supervision to staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
