Part Time Event Staff Position:

University Place is accepting resumes to fill a position on our Event Staff. Under the direction of the Event Planner, individual would be responsible for assisting in event execution. General responsibilities may include:

-Assisting with carrying out and coordination of events, event set up and logistics, managing booths/activities, event clean up, etc.

-Assist with event errands in preparation of the events.

-Assisting in communications and customer service with event attendees including giving directions, answering questions, crowd control.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of conflict resolution and guest satisfaction

· Ability to work in a fast-paced organization

· General customer service skills

· Strong interpersonal, verbal (including phone work) and written communication skills

· Basic computer processing skills (Excel, Word, etc.)

· Interest in special events

· Must be able to lift heavy items repeatedly, such as stage sections & 8’ tables

· Experience with Sound Systems preferred

· College coursework or comparable work experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
