Our Medical Oncology office is currently looking for team oriented full-time Medical Assistant (MA). This candidate will be part of a dynamic team to support our large specialty practice in Lenoir City, TN.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include any and or all of the following:

• Prepares patients for their visit by taking vital signs and escorting them to the exam room.
• Prepares patient for their visit by escorting them to the exam room and recording patient data, including but not limited to vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Keeps rooms clean and stocked with supplies.
• Assists the scheduling team by making patient appointments, when needed.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing, standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous medical experience required.
