The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University of Wisconsin - Platteville offers an undergraduate degree in Sustainability and Renewable Energy Systems. We are seeking a full-time Lecturer, with an anticipated start date of August 2024. Responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate courses in different areas, specifically in bio-renewable resources and bio-fuels. Salary for this position begins at $45,000 and is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching undergraduate courses in sustainability and renewable energy systems.
• Ability to engage modern pedagogy to teach undergraduate students through field, classroom, and laboratory settings.
• Willingness, interest, or experience in cross-disciplinary collaborations.
• Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks and goals.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Master's degree in sustainability and renewable energy systems or related field.
• Strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education and a willingness to collaborate with both students and faculty.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience teaching undergraduate courses during graduate school (an instructor of record supervising is acceptable) or at least two semesters as a graduate teaching assistant for a lab, leading sections, OR two years' industry related experience.
