This is a multi-functional position which provides critical support to the Program Manager, instructors, and program participants in administering the UW Wisconsin in Washington (WiW), DC Internship Program operated by International Academic Programs (IAP), a unit of the International Division. Wisconsin in Washington is an academic program which serves over 60 UW students a year through spring, fall, and summer term programs. Wisconsin in Washington develops students? professional skills for continued success in the workforce after graduation though internships, coursework and lectures with local experts, and networking with UW alumni and DC professionals from a wide range of themes and sectors. IAP serves as the largest study abroad office at UW-Madison and administers more than 260 campus-wide study abroad and domestic study away programs, annually sending over 2,500 UW-Madison students abroad. Responsibilities:Provides subject matter expertise in the development and execution of programs within the scope of student learning and development. Organizes the facilitation and development of curriculum design for on-going and new educational initiatives. Required
Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
1-2 years of experience working in a related field, such as higher education administrative or program coordination experience, strongly preferred. Background in student services, internship outreach and coordination, career readiness/workforce development, event planning and familiarity with Washington, DC is desirable. Experience with data management software and/or an ability and willingness to learn data management programs and tools quickly (such as Microsoft Excel). Knowledge of and experience with social media platforms and messaging is desirable.

It is anticipated this position will be onsite and requires work be performed at an onsite, non-campus work location.

Salary:Minimum $55,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications
The expected salary for this position is $60,000-$65,000.

This position is based in Washington, DC. A limited amount of remote work may be allowable.
