University of Wisconsin–Madison is Hiring a Printing Project Coordinator Near Madison, WI

Job Summary:

DPPS is seeking an experienced customer service representative with printing experience to work in our offset and digital print facility. In this role, you will use your printing experience and customer service skills to help our great team serve the UW campus and beyond!

UW-Madison's Digital Publishing and Printing Services (DPPS) is one of the largest in-house print production centers within the State of Wisconsin government. Our new state-of-the-art facility is located on Madison's east side (off campus) on Stoughton Road.

Responsibilities:

Provides customer service and coordinates complex print projects throughout the entire printing process. Determines delivery date, tracks print job statuses for printing and reproduction, and ensures timely and high-quality reproduction and printing services for customers. May lead the work of others.
  • 15% Coordinates production schedules and tracks print job progress to meet deadlines and ensure completion
  • 15% Maintains detailed print records on projects and keep other records as required
  • 15% Reviews complex orders for accurate funding information and enters billing into database
  • 15% Prepares related technical written correspondence to clients, vendors, and departments
  • 10% Provides direction, mentors, and cross trains members of the customer service team
  • 10% Understands state print purchasing requirements and regulations
  • 10% Consults with customers on complex print projects
  • 10% Coordinates printing projects that use external vendors and maintains detailed records as required

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Basic computer and smart phone knowledge
  • Ability to perform simple math equations
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
In addition to the required qualifications, the most qualified candidates may also have the following preferred qualifications:
  • Previous printing experience preferred

Work Schedule:

7:45am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position is located at 2109 S. Stoughton Road.

Salary:

Minimum $21.92 HOURLY
Depending on Qualifications
Starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Well qualified applicants can anticipate to earn between $21.92-$24.00 per hour, with final salary based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

This position may require minimal overtime.
