100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday Friday 6:30AM 5:00PM with late shift. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Senior Electrophysiology Tech to:
Function independently as a member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team.
Perform the most complex electrophysiology procedures and act as the principal EPT overseeing the technical operations required for the performance of routine and advanced EP procedures.
Coordinate work assignments; review and update procedure manuals and protocols; assist in staff education, and assist in coordination of research and quality improvement projects.

Education :
Minimum Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) or Imaging Technologist training program
Preferred Bachelors degree in healthcare related field
Work Experience :
Minimum Five (5) years experience working as an Electrophysiology Technologist in an Electrophysiology Laboratory.
Preferred Ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible experience in the Electrophysiology Lab.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum
If an Imaging Technician, then registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT).
BLS certification
ACLS certification
RCES or CEP certification within six months of hire date
