Per Diem Registered Nurses must commit to work a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours per six (6) week scheduling period as follows: At least twenty-four (24) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours must be weekend shift hours and at least twenty-four (24) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours must be scheduled for the evening or night shift. These hours can be combined to meet the requirements. A minimum of one (1) summer and one (1) winter holiday may be required. You will be working at American Family Childrens Hospital in Madison, WI.

Provide leadership for the advancement of professional nursing and transport team practice.
In collaboration with other members, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs designed to optimize outcomes of the defined patient population across the continuum of care.

Education :
Preferred Bachelors degree in nursing.
Work Experience :
Minimum Six (6) months pediatric nursing experience.
Preferred One (1) year recent (within 2 years) experience in Pediatric Acute Care and/or Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or Pediatric Sedation and/or Pediatric PACU or pre/post anesthesia area.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification. PALS certification.
Preferred Chemotherapy certification.
