UW Medical Center – Northwesthas an outstanding opportunity forFULL TIME, Day-Shift CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANTSto join our Endoscopy Unit. The Medical Assistant will play a key support role on a growing team that values exceptional patient care and collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in the care of all patients admitted to Endoscopy

Assists in preparation of patients for endoscopy and the performance of endoscopic procedures

Assists with the maintenance cleaning and use of endoscopy equipment and supplies

Uses computer system to chart and view schedule and patient information
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or other recognized regional or national accreditation board

Must be Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or achieve this designation within 6-months of hire. Failure to achieve and/or maintain this designation will result in termination of employment

Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card
