This is an incredible opportunity to join a collegial academic environment and work in a children’s hospital ranked as one of the best in the U.S. The Division of Pediatric Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, has an immediate opening for a Pediatric Nephrologist. The provider will care for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of kidney disorders, including those patients on dialysis and with kidney transplants in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The provider must be capable of performing procedures including hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, peritoneal dialysis, therapeutic plasma exchange, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and kidney biopsy with sedation. Clinical activities will be carried out at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospitals ( PCH ), including Primary Children’s Riverton campus, with the potential for outreach clinics in the future. Teaching and research are encouraged, but the degree will vary depending on the rank, track and job description. Administrative duties and committee assignments will be limited in the first year, but may be expected after the first year.

Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Nephrology, and must possess excellent procedural and clinical skills. The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment on the Clinical or Tenure track in the Department of Pediatrics at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
