University of the Pacific is Hiring a Ticket Account Executive Near Stockton, CA

Primary Purpose:
University of the Pacific Athletics is seeking a dynamic individual to learn and develop their knowledge of the fundamentals of the sales process as a Pacific Athletics Account Executive.
Essential Functions:
Sell a full menu of ticket products, primarily for basketball, including season tickets, ticket packages, group tickets, premium tickets, and hospitality packages, via phone and face-to-face presentations.
Contact businesses in the local area via. Phone call, appointment, and event-based selling.
Build relationships and expand business with current ticket holders, including requesting referrals.
Deliver superior customer service to current and future fans.
Achieve pre-determined sales goals
Effectively use CRM to maintain accurate records of client and prospect interaction.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required. All home games will be worked in various capacities, including prospecting appointments, sales tables, and game events.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
One (1) year of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external customers.
Ability to prospect, research, and close ticket sales leads.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Competitive and highly motivated.
Ability to travel for outside sales presentations.
Experience in customer service or sales.
Experience in a college athletics department or professional sports organization.
Experience in ticket sales.
Physical Requirements:

Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand/wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking, walking across campus, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching. Constant verbal and written communication. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with use of computer and phone. Work is performed during standard hours, additional hours may be required to meet business needs or deadlines. Must be prepared to work non-business hours, including nights and weekends. Travel required - Ability to travel for outside sales presentations.
Valid drivers license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the Universitys fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserve the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience, non-exempt
