University of the Pacific is Hiring a Manager of Men's Tennis Operations (Temporary) Near Stockton, CA

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for assisting in the administration and management of the men's tennis program for Pacific Intercollegiate Athletics.
Essential Functions:
Arranges all travel for mens tennis team contests conducted away from the Pacific campus.
Coordinates fundraising and promotional activities for the mens tennis program.
Coordinates camps and clinics for the mens tennis program.
Arranges all practice facility usage both on and off campus.
Assists in monitoring the academic performance of mens tennis student-athletes.
Assists with the mens tennis team film and video analysis program.
Orders and distributes all team apparel and equipment.
Assists in driving the teams on all travel trips.
Performs other duties as assigned by the head mens tennis coach.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
One (1) year of experience working with collegiate, club, or professional sports teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with specific emphasis/concentration in sports management or related field.
Strong computer and social media skills.
Working knowledge of Tennis.
Working knowledge of NCAA and University of the Pacific rules and regulations as they pertain to student-athletes and prospective student-athletes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of budget oversight and control.
Basic knowledge of arranging travel.
Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to persuade encourage and motivate team members.
Possesses a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization and diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand/wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work performed in standard office or athletic venues. Work is performed during standard hours, additional hours may be required to meet business needs or deadlines. Requires flexibility in schedule to meet recruiting, game, and event schedules. Extensive travel required both national and international.
Valid drivers license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the Universitys fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience, non-exempt
