Primary Purpose | University of the Pacific accepts year- round applications for the Dispatcher- Paid Internship until filled. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in police telecommunications from the University of the Pacific's Public Safety Office. Under general supervision, the Public Safety Dispatcher Intern is responsible for receiving and transmitting routine and emergency telephone and radio messages, viewing camera surveillance systems, and identifying issues important to the department's mission; and performs related work as required. |

This position serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA) as outlined by the Clery Act. CSAs have federally mandated responsibilities to report crimes that are reported them.
