Brief Description of Duties
The University of the District of Columbia is a public land grant institution of higher learning dedicated to providing quality, career focused undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students with knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to launch, enhance or change careers.
David A. Clarke School of Law has a proud history and distinguished alumni. From its founding as Antioch School of Law in 1972, it has its mission to recruit and enroll students from group of underrepresented at the bar, provide a well-rounded theoretical and practical legal education that will enable students to be effective ethical advocates, and to represent the legal needs of low-income residents through the School's legal clinics.
Incumbents must teach all assigned classes and hours as determined by the semester course schedule; Incumbents will be required to prepare and deliver relevant curriculum to students using a variety of teaching methods to include, but not limited to, lecture, class discussion, simulations and projects. The determination of a "satisfactory background investigation" is made at the sole discretion of the University of the District of Columbia.
