Brief Description of DutiesThe incumbent functions as Academic Coach in the Office of Student Success and reports to the Director of Student Success. The Academic Coach will intrusively advise, and support identified student cohorts, and/or caseloads in their course of study. In addition, the role incumbent will plan, coordinate, monitor and follow-up regarding tutoring, probation support and the satisfactory appeals (SAP). Achieve quantitative targets for retention, student success, and providing monthly data analytics reports on the assigned cohort. This role is critical in improving academic achievement and overall student success and is required to meet weekly/biweekly basis to support students. Work with staff and faculty on a regular basis to provide quality support and advisement to assigned student cohorts.
