Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of high-quality solutions for the PeopleSoft Interaction Hub and user experiences for other PeopleSoft applications.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience or associate's degree and 6 years of related experience or high school diploma and 8 years of related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Solid experience of PeopleTools portal technologies and PeopleSoft Interaction Hub. PeopleSoft experience with Fluid User Interface and PeopleTools 8.56 and above.
PeopleTools Portal Technologies
  • 4 years of creating, configuring and maintaining key features of Portal such as homepages, dashboards, WorkCenters, Portal sites, content Management and navigation collections
  • 4 years administering PeopleTools portal definitions (templates, style sheets and navigation settings) and portal registry of available content
  • 2 years experience with PeopleSoft Fluid Development (pages, tiles, landing pages, Fluid Approvals and Notifications)
PeopleSoft Interaction Hub
  • 4 years configuring and managing unified navigation to federate multiple PeopleSoft Applications
  • 4 years managing collaboration features such as calendars, action items, and others
  • 2 years manage global search engines, specifically Elasticsearch
Branding
  • 4 years building and assembling themes, modifying style sheets and Macro Sets
  • 4 years experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3
Integration Tools
  • 4 years configuring interfaces with Integration Broker, Web Services, Incremental and Full-Sync between PeopleSoft Applications, Component Interfaces and Application Messaging
SSO/Security
  • 4 years configuring and maintaining Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication
  • 2 years experience with PeopleSoft Security Administration
Automation Testing
  • 3 experience with Telerik Test Automation and/or PeopleSoft Test Framework
Solid understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines
Demonstrated ability to analyze current processes and recommend process improvements
4 years Oracle 12c/19c databases
4 years experience with Shibboleth
4 years experience with F5 Load Balancer
Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization
Ability to coordinate a work team and train lower level programmers and analysts for specific tasks or assignments
Previous experience within Higher Education and/or supporting PeopleSoft Applications (FMS, HCM, Campus Solutions)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
SSO - 15%
  • Configure and maintain key features of PeopleSoft Interaction Hub such as Single Sign On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Unified Navigation, Global Search
Portal Technologies - 20%
  • Configure and maintain key features of Portal such as Homepages, Portal Sites, Content Management, Portal Registry, Pagelets, and Navigation Collections. Assist with security configuration related to navigation. May conduct or participate in 'war room' sessions to solve issues. Maintain status for assigned portal projects and assist to resolve all issues and automate processes where applicable. Provide consulting and assistance regarding PeopleSoft user interface configuration, operations and standards
PeopleTools - 20%
  • Competency with PeopleSoft Development Tools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, App Packages, WorkCenters, Dashboards, Workflow, SQL, Data Mover and Process Scheduler. Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid Development: Fluid Pages, Tiles, Landing Pages, Dashboards, Fluid Approval and Notifications
Branding - 15%
  • Competency with PeopleSoft branding: Ability to build and assemble themes, modify Style Sheets and Macro Sets. Competency with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS 3
Integration Broker - 15%
  • Competency with Integration Broker: Integration Gateways, Service Operations, Messages, Handlers, Routings and Monitoring. Integrate new interfaces and messaging for the Interaction Hub. Implement integration between PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, HCM, CS and FSCM applications
PeopleSoft Security - 5%
  • Demonstrate proficient understanding of PeopleSoft Security Administration: Users, Roles, Permissions, Process Groups, User Preferences, Authentication and Dynamic roles
Migration and Version Control - 5%
  • Use PHIRE for migration of updated PeopleSoft objects. Use the Cherwell ticketing system to track project and issue assignments
Other duties as assigned - 5%

Additional Information
  • Position location will be discussed during the interview process. Location can be Fort Worth, TX or Richardson, TX.
  • Hybrid remote work environment available. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Must have the ability to be on Richardson campus with 48 hours of notice.
  • Will work around standard office conditions.
  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Uses standard office equipment.
  • Requires occasional evening or weekend hours.
