The Steve Hicks School of Social Work and the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin invite applications for a full-time tenured faculty position at the senior level (professor or associate professor rank).

Successful candidates will demonstrate having an active research program that includes a distinguished record of funding as well as scholarship; will be an accomplished teacher and leader in social work or medical education; and will have a record of distinction in one or more of the following research domains: bioethics, digital health, health technology, and AI; and methodological expertise in community-based participatory research and/or implementation science.

Experience with social work and health in a clinical setting, e.g., a department of social work located in a hospital, health sciences center, or equivalent is especially valued.
