The Steve Hicks School of Social Work and the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin invite applications for a full-time tenured faculty position. We seek a senior level (professor or associate professor rank) scholar to engage in independent and collaborative research that can bridge disciplines across our two schools.
Successful candidates will demonstrate having an active research program that includes a distinguished record of funding as well as scholarship; and be an accomplished teacher and leader in social work or medical education. Because of the joint appointment associated with this position, experience with social work and health in a clinical setting is especially valued.
Research domains of particular interest to our schools include bioethics, digital health, health technology, and artificial intelligence; as are methodological expertise in community-based participatory research and/or implementation science.
