This is a grant funded position with an end date of 8/31/2024, renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward research goals.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Purpose

This position will provide research assistance/support for research projects in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Austin working as part of a team of faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate assistants.

Responsibilities

* Reviews medical records and conducts screenings for study recruitment. Execute data collection procedure and assessment and assist with subject recruitment.

* Help with subject management, scheduling and reimbursement.

* Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or technical field. Basic engineering and/or scientific equipment ordinarily used in college laboratory work. Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) and interact skillfully with investigators, staff, and researchers;?work both as a team member and independently?without continuous supervision;?work with overlapping projects and with sensitive and confidential information;?adapt to a dynamic and deadline-driven, customer service-oriented environment.? Preferred Qualifications

Experience with projects involving human subject research. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Experience with REDCap. Phlebotomy experience & certification.

Salary Range

$40,000 depending on qualifications
