Building Services Aide I- Facilities Services (Multiple Positions Available)

The University of Tennessee, Facilities Services Department of Custodial Operations is accepting applications for full-time custodial positions. The department provides service to Academic and Athletic Facilities.

A successful candidate must be able to perform general cleaning responsibilities and be active for 8 hours of walking. Lifting up to 50 lbs.

The required job duties consist of high dusting, vacuuming, hard floor stripping, carpet cleaning, wet mopping, trash removal, recycling audits, stairwell cleaning, snow shoveling, window washing, lavatory cleaning. This position is essential: must be able to work weekends, always be available, and work home football dates.

Applicant should be able to follow instructions. Clean and neat in appearance; able to work required shift. Applicant will be required to do physical work.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

High school education preferred;
