The Tickle College of Engineering (TCE) has an innovative and collaborative advising team focused on undergraduate student success, supporting transition to college life, and each student’s undergraduate Volunteer journey. The TCE has professional academic advisors in every major to collaborate with faculty mentors toward the retention and graduation of undergraduate Engineering students. This is an exempt, 12 month, full time, non-tenure track staff position that provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of UT’s Advising strategic plan that integrates academic and career advising with self-exploration, leadership, and experience learning.

The Position:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Engineering Advising for the Tickle College of Engineering, the Academic Advisor will serve as a member the Engineering Advising team. The Advisor will collaborate with students to co-create educational plans in ways that are consistent with their aspirations, interests, strengths, and values- preparing them for a life of learning in a diverse and global society.
