Full-Time Regular Non-Exempt, Parking and Transit Services Office
This position reports directly to the UT Parking & Transportation Office Permit Manager providing administrative support for the Permit Office. This position serves as the primary administrative position in the Permit Office that manages special permit requests (athletics, Orange Dots, Gruests, Emeritus, Greek, Third-Party) using appropriate databases, request processes and issuance procedures. This position also includes conducting Permit Office financial transactions including posting and reconciling payments made via the departmental website, reconciling daily computer totals and cash register details of sales and preparing Daily Cash Summary Reports for the Treasurer’s Office.
Education:
High school diploma. Completion of some specialized administrative/office education and/or relevant training preferred.
Experience:
Job Skills:
Strong organizational, administrative and customer service skills; proven ability to multi-task; effective oral and written communications skills; proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word & Excel. Ability to handle large volumes of requests and transactions on a daily basis in order to ensure a rapid turnaround for permit requests.
