USC's Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accepting applications for a Clinical Patient Care Staff Pharmacist to work at the USC Pharmacy located on the University Park Campus. The Clinical Patient Care Staff Pharmacist will provide pharmacy based clinical patient care services to include, but not limited to, expand vaccine administration services, continue to expand the current pharmacy clinical services to increase outcomes with the latent TB treatment, smoking cessation, travel medicine and disease screening services. The Clinical Patient Care Staff Pharmacist will be required to verify prescription orders in compliance with Federal and State laws, provide accurate and safe drug therapy, medication consultations and quality assurance for medication errors on a continual basis. The Clinical Patient Care Staff Pharmacist must have an interest in precepting pharmacy students and residents. The applicant will also participate in monthly pharmacist staff meetings, preceptor meetings, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics meetings with the USC Student Health Center. The applicant must be available to work weekdays and some weekends. The applicant must have a degree from an accredited (ACPE) school of pharmacy and be a registered pharmacist in the state of CA. Pharm.D., residency or equivalent experience is preferred.

Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience preferred.

Occasional meetings, evenings and weekends.

The hourly rate range for this position is $74.00 - $77.00.
