Per Diem Position - Clinic opened Monday through Friday- 8 hour shifts - 8-4:30

Responsibilities:

Under the general guidance of the Clinical Cardiology Division Attendings is primarily responsible for maintaining standards of care and patient satisfaction, and for coordination and provision of proficient care in the Clinical Cardiology Practice at the Finger Lakes offices. Create and maintain and atmosphere where patients feel comfortable. Ensures patient confidentiality and privacy. Performs direct patient care duties, including participation in stress testing, and triages patient phone calls. Maintains current knowledge of medical diagnoses and therapeutics in the subspecialty of Cardiology. Maintain working knowledge of drug interactions and reactions. Demonstrates accountability in the conduct of all duties. Qualifications : Current Rn licensure, ACLS and SPR certifications required. A minimum of two to three years' experience in an outpatient setting preferred; with one to two years acute care experience preferred. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to function independently within the limits of the position.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay: $33.00 - $42.90 per hour
