Medication Access Navigator

This is not your run-of-the-mill pharmacy technician position!
The Medication Access Navigator is also known as a Medication Access Specialist (MAS) and is part of the University of Rochester’s Specialty Pharmacy team. The MAS is responsible for managing medication coordination and removing barriers for patients to receive specialty medications. This includes communication with insurance companies, and financial assistance programs, as well as linking communication between patients, pharmacists, and clinic staff. The MAS works independently and interacts with various individuals within and outside the institution, requiring excellent phone etiquette and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Qualifications: Healthcare and/or Pharmacy experience is not required but is preferred
