We are seeking a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as the Manager of the Optical Mechanical Group. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the team responsible for the design and development of optical mechanical systems. As the Manager of the Optical Mechanical Group, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining a high level of quality in deliverables. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the team, as well as mentoring and developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Optical Mechanical Group, ensuring the team is working effectively and efficiently.
• Oversee the design and development of optical mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of optical mechanical systems into larger projects.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, resolving mechanical issues as they arise.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in optical mechanical engineering, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in managing a team of engineers.
• Strong knowledge of optical mechanical engineering principles and best practices.
• Proficient in using optical mechanical design tools, such as CAD software.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,650.00 - $113,464.00 per year
