Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Police Officer at the University of Rhode Island. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security on campus, patrolling the grounds, responding to emergencies, enforcing laws and regulations, conducting criminal investigations, and collecting and preserving evidence.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Police Officer or in a law enforcement role
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and evidence collection
- Ability to enforce laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations
- Physical fitness and ability to meet the requirements of the job
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in a college or university setting is a plus
