The Penn GSE Center for Professional Learning designs and delivers professional learning programs that engage teachers, leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, and other educators across the globe. The Center for Professional Learning offers a growing set of executive education certificate programs that bring Penn GSE research and expertise directly to practitioners in the field.
The Associate Director, Enrollment and Marketing is chiefly responsible for designing, developing, and managing an enrollment strategy and system for the Center for Professional Learning. This includes designing a high-quality and world-class experience at every stage of the applicant and enrollment process, from prospective learner, to applicant, to a member within one of our professional learning programs, to an alumni within our professional learning community. This position is responsible for working in close partnership with the Penn GSE Director of Marketing and Brand Identity to understand the Penn GSE brand, create compelling and world-class marketing assets, and utilize those marketing assets as part of a broader strategy to create awareness, interest, and engagement with the programs within the Center for Professional Learning. The Associate Director will work closely with the Penn GSE world-renowned faculty to craft compelling narratives for our professional learning programs. A successful applicant will have extensive experience with marketing, communications, CRM systems, paid marketing, executive education enrollment processes, and a track record of successfully building marketing and enrollment systems and processes that directly lead to increased interest and enrollment.
Job Description
List of Duties
Enrollment Management: Design, develop, and manage a strategic enrollment management strategy and system for the Center for Professional Learning programs at all stages of the learner journey, including prospects, inquiries, applicants, enrolls, and alumni.
Design, Develop, and Utilize Marketing Assets: Design, develop, and utilize marketing assets for the Center for Professional Learning programs, including digital and physical marketing collateral and program websites. Coordinate with the Penn GSE Director of Marketing and Brand Identity to ensure brand coherence and to implement paid and organic marketing strategies.
Manage CRM systems: Develop a sophisticated understanding of the various Penn GSE CRM systems (Slate and Learning Stream) to effectively design and manage a communication and enrollment system that includes all email, text, and print communications to prospective learners along their enrollment journey. Assess the impact of the strategy and adjust accordingly.
Recruitment Events: Plan and participate in both virtual and in-person recruitment events that showcase the Center for Professional Learning program offerings.
Prospective Learner Support: Manage email inquiries from prospective learners and troubleshoot challenges to ensure a high quality application experience.
Qualifications (Required and Preferred)
Bachelor's degree is required and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
Extensive experience with marketing, communications, CRM systems, executive education enrollment processes, and a track record of successfully building marketing and enrollment systems and processes that directly lead to increased interest and enrollment.
Adaptable, highly collaborative, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Requires fastidious attention to detail
Must have the ability to multitask and advance multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Event programming will frequently occur in the evening and/or weekends, so must be able to work some non-traditional hours
Preferred:
Familiarity with constituent relationship management (CRM) systems, ideally Slate.
Prior experience using email marketing systems, such as MailChimp
Graphic design experience and/or knowledge of design software is a plus

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
