Department Summary | The Department of Mathematics is a comprehensive department with 45 faculty, including research faculty in both pure and applied mathematics as well as statistics. We offer degrees through the Ph.D. and have approximately 250 undergraduate majors and 60 graduate students. |
Position Summary | The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas invites applications for a tenure-track position in logic and set theory at the rank of assistant professor starting Fall 2024. We seek applicants with a demonstrated track record of excellence in research and teaching. Responsibilities of this position include conducting research in logic and set theory, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and advising graduate students. The normal teaching load is two courses per semester with teaching reductions given during the initial years of appointment and for substantial grant support. |
