Primary Purpose of Department | The primary purpose of the Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES), a program under the Enrollment Management division at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, is to support the university's enrollment goals by recruiting, retaining, and graduating adult and nontraditional students. OASES provides quality advising services and promotes educational opportunity by the research, design, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs and services for adult and nontraditional students. OASES offers services and programs to assist adult students in reaching their academic and career goals. |
Primary Purpose of Position | The primary purpose of this position is to advise the populations of students that are classified as adult and nontraditional students and coordinate adult student engagement programs to ensure an inclusive learning environment on campus. The adult and nontraditional student populations include, but are not limited to, prospective, newly admitted, readmitted, and transfer adult students. The position includes the following primary areas of responsibility for adult students:
