TheUniversity of New Mexico Student Health & Counseling clinic (SHAC) isrecruiting for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented Registered Nurse toprovide professional nurse services to a diverse university student body in ourAllergy & Immunization and General Medicine (primary care and ASAP care)clinics. A background in urgent care, public health, and/or primary caredesired.
TheStudent Health & Counseling Center is located at the center of campus. Theclinic provides comprehensive primary and mental health services and has alaboratory, x-ray, pharmacy, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, casemanagement, and health promotions on site. Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program; no previous experience required.Certification/Licensure State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with New Mexico.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
