Medical Practice Analyst

Position Grade10
Position SummaryProvides a range of specialized professional and operational support within a medical practice component of a clinical department of the Health Sciences Center. Conducts research and analysis of operational issues and productivity within a clinical setting. May provide or participate in problem resolution and make recommendations to enhance business productivity. Reviews routine documentation to ensure data integrity and quality of production.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

PreferredQualifications:
Experience with:

-Tracking faculty leave, updating leave calendar and notifying faculty of OR and clinic availability.

-Working with faculty to ensure documentation is complete for billing purposes.

-Providing administrative support to Orthopaedic physicians.

-Creating and analyzing medical practice reports.

-PowerChart, IDX, Anodyne.

-Familiarity with medical coding and professional fees.
