The University of New Mexico is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to become the Head Coach for its Cheer and Spirit programs. The Head Coach / Spirit Squad Director will be responsible for leading all aspects of the UNM cheer, spirit, and mascot programs. These responsibilities include: implementation of cheerleading/spirit routines at Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and other events as assigned; oversight of cheer/spirit’s annual recruitment efforts’ collaboration with the UNM marching band to implement game day routines; travel to away Football and tournament basketball environments to oversee spirit program members; oversight of the UNM Spirit operating budget; and overall fundraising for the UNM Cheer/Spirit program.
