Position Summary | The University of New Mexico’s Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Equal Opportunity (CEEO) seeks a Compliance Specialist experienced in conducting investigations from start to finish, interpreting and analyzing policies, and providing technical advice in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, Title IX, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and various other compliance areas. The selected candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, team player, and must be able to multi-task and handle confidential material in a professional manner. The Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Equal Opportunity is an internal compliance office that provides services to students, staff and faculty. Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. | |
