Summary of Position
Under broad supervision, this position performs highly responsible work coordinating functions of the Registrar’s Office. Considerable independent judgment is exercised applying and adapting departmental guidelines, policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and applying thorough knowledge of the operations and policies of the department and University. Maintain confidentiality and work directly with students, administrative support units, academic departments and deans offices to troubleshoot complex academic record issues. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with University policies and procedures. This position requires administrative, organizational, communication and data entry skills. Flexibility and demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a wide variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment is crucial.

  • Three years of related experience preferably in higher education, or AA degree and five years of experience, or a combination of experience and higher education equal to seven years.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
