Summary Of PositionThe Research Laboratory Supervisor ensures the efficient running of day-to-day operations of the Ernakovich Lab, which is part of the Center for Soil Biogeochemistry and Microbial Ecology (SoilBioME) at the University of New Hampshire. The Research Laboratory Supervisor will work with other lab managers to manage SoilBioME operations in addition to maintaining the Ernakovich Lab. Additional Job InformationOther minimum qualifications
Master’s degree in Microbial Ecology, Natural Resources, Ecosystem Science, Biogeochemistry or related field AND at least one year of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in related field AND four years of related experience
Minimum one year previous supervisory or managerial experience
Strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, ability to work in a team environment
Strong technical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills
Must be able to wear and use appropriate protective equipment, as necessary
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Bioinformatics and statistics skills
Experience with stable isotopes
Record of publication or submission to scientific journals
Record of submission of grants and awards
