The Athletic Trainer interacts consistently with patients under the direction of a provider, authorized practitioner or RN and help to build and cultivate an environment of healing and education. Our Orthopedic Surgery specialists provide care for a broad spectrum of bone and joint injuries. We're here to treat conditions affecting ankles, feet, hands, shoulders, elbows, and spine, as well as musculoskeletal tumors. Athletic Trainer Overview Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinates prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid), rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuries as set forth by the NATA Board of certification Provides all prescribed treatments and recommendations by attending physician Communicates optimally with patients and other members of the healthcare team Acts as a liaison between the patient being treated and the attending physician Completes appropriate continuing education to maintain license and certification(s) Minimum Qualifications: BOC Certified with an active Minnesota State Athletic Training License Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in an athletic training setting preferred Location: M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - 909 Fulton St. SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 Hours: 40 hours / week Sign On Bonus: $6,000 (bonus may be available to qualified candidates) Benefits: This is a fully benefit eligible position: Competitive wages, Healthcare (including vision & dental), 401K, parking & tuition assistance and more!
