Department of Neurology

Neurocritical Care Intensivist (NTT)

The Department of Neurology is seeking a Neurocritical Care Intensivist at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. The department is undergoing expansion and seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the area of General Neurology with a special emphasis and training in Neurocritical Care. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Details:

Department is comprised of:

  • 16 neurologists

  • 14 neuroscientists

  • 3 Nurse Practitioners

  • Responsibilities are:

  • ~90% Clinical

  • ~10% Teaching/Education/Administration

Requirements:

  • MD/DO
  • Board certified in Neurology
  • BC/BE in Critical Care

As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department's facilities include:

  • A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU

  • 14-bed Neurosciences ICU

  • AANEM Lab Accreditation with Exemplary Status

  • Level IV Epilepsy program

  • Level 1 Acute Stroke Center

  • MDA/ALS clinics

  • An accredited Sleep Program

  • First Adult Certified Duchenne Care Center by PPMD.
