Department of Neurology

Neurocritical Care Intensivist (NTT)

The Department of Neurology is seeking a Neurocritical Care Intensivist at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

The department is undergoing expansion and seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the area of General Neurology with a special emphasis and training in Neurocritical Care.

Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Details :

Department is comprised of :

16 neurologists

14 neuroscientists

3 Nurse Practitioners

Responsibilities are :

90% Clinical

10% Teaching / Education / Administration

Requirements :
  • MD / DO
  • MD / DO
  • Board certified in Neurology
  • BC / BE in Critical Care
  • As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department's facilities include :

    A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU

    14-bed Neurosciences ICU

    AANEM Lab Accreditation with Exemplary Status

    Level IV Epilepsy program

    Level 1 Acute Stroke Center

    MDA / ALS clinics

    An accredited Sleep Program

    First Adult Certified Duchenne Care Center by PPMD.
