Energy Management
Perform highly skilled, specialized SCADA, protective relay, communications, and controls work associated with high voltage substations and other electric distribution systems automation.
Duties include Utility metering, protective relay testing and monitoring, SCADA maintenance and programming, installation, maintenance, and repairs on automated controlled systems. Controls and wiring associated with the utility metering, substations, and electrical distribution equipment on the University of Missouri campus.
Perform highly skilled duties relative to the installation, maintenance, repair, testing and calibration of protective relaying. Utilize computer-controlled testing and programming equipment.
Due to necessary fluctuations of workloads in the skill area, an incumbent in this class may be required, on an occasional basis and according to need, to perform duties outside his/her trade area. Normal safety requirements, scheduling and the most efficient use of staff and equipment are taken into consideration in such assignments.
This position will utilize computers, operation and maintenance manuals, drawings, and maps in their daily work.
This position coordinates their maintenance work daily, with other electrical distribution and power plant operations personnel. They will also work with vendors, equipment suppliers and engineers, on a regular basis during normal course of work.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Experience with solid state protective relay devices, such as Basler Electric, S&C, SEL devices and programming tools.
Experience with Allen Bradly Studio 5000, PLCs, Control Logix and HMIs.
Experience with electric revenue meters such as Landis Gyr.
Experience with common SCADA communication protocols, cabling, and fiber optics.
A valid driver's license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri is required.
Salary Range: $24.94 - $45.26 per hour
