Required Qualifications*
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Multitasking ability
- Ability to work with many details with accuracy
- Data entry or computer experience
Desired Qualifications*
- Previous experience as an inpatient clerk in a medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Work Schedule
- Part time - 24 hrs / wk
- Work Schedule 11 : 30 pm - 7 : 30 am
- Includes rotating weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to complete a 4 week - 40 hour / week training program consisting of at least two weeks training on Day Shift (7 : 15 AM - 3 : 45 PM) before transitioning to night shift.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
