Wound Ostomy Coordinator, Registered Nurse

Serves as an expert resource for Ostomy care including patient and family education, staff education and the development of care management approaches to maximizing clinical outcomes for complex, draining wounds, fistulas, dermal ulcers, and skin problems related to pressure.

Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.

• Current Maryland licensure in good standing as a Registered Nurse.
• Has or obtains within six months of employment WOCN certification.
• Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
