Work Orientation & Experience:
Skills & Abilities: Ability to: a) monitor, assess, and record patient progress against a plan of care; b) convey effective verbal and written communications between oncology practice, cancer care team and related programs; c) adjust the plan of care based on assessed changes in patients status; d) handle multiple priorities; e) respond to emergency situations appropriately; f) work independently and take initiative to achieve favorable patient outcomes. Demonstrate skills in: g) planning, implementing, and evaluating patient services; h) making effective decisions; i) critical thinking and problem-solving skills; j) crisis management; k) adapts hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the infusion center; l) verbal and written patient and staff educational programs; m) chemotherapy teaching n) organizing work, setting priorities, meeting deadlines; o) working with physicians and other team members to coordinate patient care; p) ability to work successfully with diverse types of individuals including, management staff, general public, and team members; q) facilitating patient access to community; r) is computer literate
