We are seeking a Full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus.

Located in Baltimore’s cultural center near the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, UMMC Midtown Campus is a 200-bed non-profit, community teaching hospital, and part of the University of Maryland Medical System.

Scope of Services provided:

The emergency department (ED) is a level II service that provides initial stabilization and emergency management of emergent and non-urgent medical conditions for patients of all ages. The main 23-bed treatment area has two-monitored trauma-resuscitation rooms and two rooms equipped with a negative/positive air pressure system for patients with the potential for infectious diseases or a compromised immune system. 

Still growing here in Baltimore to serve the community. 

The newest addition to the U of M Midtown campus is our new 10 story Patient Tower. The Patient Tower will add over 200,000 square feet of space for outpatient services for those with chronic conditions including Diabetes, Cardiac care, pulmonary disease and much more.

As an RN in the Emergency Department at Midtown hospital you will have the advantage of having a full time, department dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator. That means one person who knows the ED and works just in the ED to help you learn and grow.

Qualifications
  • Meets licensing requirements to practice Registered Nursing in the State of Maryland.
  • Must meet all applicable state and local professional requirements.
  • ACLS provider completion within 1 year of employment
  • PALS completion within 1 year of employment
  • BLS provider completion.
