Community Psychiatry Division
Psychiatric Outpatient Program Coordinator, Walter P Carter Fayette Clinic
Under general supervision, provides therapeutic intervention and social work services to patients and their families to enhance comprehensive, integrated and uninterrupted care in an outpatient psychiatry setting and to provide continuity of care to adults. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers in accordance with UMMS and departmental policies and procedures.
Job Description
Under limited supervision, the coordinator directs the operation of an outpatient mental health clinic (OMHC) that serves a caseload of approximately 700 adult patients. Provides leadership, guidance and consultation to a multidisciplinary team.
