General Summary
The pharmacy resident is a pharmacist in training who provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, clinical services and teaching. The resident is required to complete all requirements/objectives of the residency program as outlined by the site (BWMC) and the accrediting body (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists).

Clinical Pharmacy Services
Responds to therapeutic queries posed by physicians and other healthcare providers under the supervision of a clinical pharmacy specialist or clinical pharmacist.
Identifies and corrects drug-related problems such as complications resulting from drug therapy (ineffective therapy, allergic reactions and adverse drug reactions) under the supervision of a clinical pharmacy specialist or clinical pharmacist.
