UM Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide PRN inpatient coverage.

The ideal candidate will be providing mental and behavioral health consultations to our adult inpatient populations. Out 12-bed unit is a comprehensive program that serves patients with psychiatric and addiction disorders and is designed to offer collaborative, compassionate, community based care. 

• Responsibilities will include inpatient rounding along with unit consults within the hospital but not limited to: med surg, telemetry unit, ICU and emergency room.
• PRN shifts to provide coverage as needed
• Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

• Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in Behavioral and Mental Health Inpatient setting
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner must be acquired before start date.
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
•  Experience preferred, not required.
• DEA and CDS eligible.
