The Department of Art at the University of Maine seeks a Sculpture Studio Technician to assist with operations of its sculpture curriculum and facilities. The Technician coordinates, supports, and/or supervises various activities, including instruction; safety training and compliance; maintenance of specialized equipment (including kilns, furnaces, and power tools); student employees; and the purchase and tracking of supplies and equipment. Typical hiring range for this part-time (30 hours per week) position with a 9 month work year of September 1st to May 31st is $32,000 to $35,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
