IT Business Operations Coordinator

Full-time, Exempt, Regular Position

The University of Maine System is seeking to hire an IT Business Operations Coordinator. The Business Operations Coordinator is a valuable resource that supports both day-to-day and project-related business needs for Information Technology (IT) to ensure the department is running efficiently and meets the expectations and needs of customers and staff. This role directly administers or supports various requests and processes, including customer inquiries, technology purchasing, software licensing, compliance reviews, communications, and record keeping.

The work location is flexible, on any of our seven campus locations across the state of Maine, or work can be done remotely.

Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the annual salary range is mid $40's to low $50's plus a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, and tuition waiver programs for employees and dependents. The UMS is a recipient of the Wellness Councils of America’s Well Workplace Award and offers a wellness program.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent relevant experience and education.
  • Three to five years of experience in related administrative work.
  • Experience in handling phases of multiple projects simultaneously.
